Every suit from the design to the final stitch is made specifically to order, ensuring that each purchase is completely unique to each individual client.
The team at Ad Hominem have lovingly selected over 750 British and Italian cashmere fabrics in different weights for our clients to choose from. We are confident that whether you are looking for a herringbone, pinstripe, chalkstripe, birdseye or twill we will have a cloth to exactly suit your requirements.
Every aspect of your suit will be designed and cut to your own individual pattern. With our advice, you can specify all the fine points of detail that results in a garment that perfectly reflects your own unique style.

Ad Hominem’s Bespoke Suit Service
1) Appointment – Your appointment begins with a senior member of the Ad Hominem team coming to your office, or home, at a convenient time for you. In this appointment, fabric, colour, cut, design and lining are all discussed to make ensure you receive exactly what you require. Advice and suggestions are given if necessary.
2) Measurements – A number of detailed measurements are taken so that the garment is made to the exact specification of each client, and constructed in such a way to emphasise their best features and hide their worst. Photos are taken to ensure complete understanding of your body shape.
3) Tailoring - Your measurements and specifications are then handed to the pattern cutter and master tailor, who have been responsible for more than 25,000 bespoke garments and have a career spanning 75 years between them. Over 80 hours of work and 60,000 hand stitches later, you have your unique suit.
4) Delivery and Fitting – Your suit will be delivered to you personally by a member of the Ad Hominem team approximately 3 weeks after your deposit clears. In this appointment you try your suit on and the fit is carefully considered and any alterations that may be required are specified. If alterations are needed, these will be done quickly and carefully. You do not pay your balance until you are completely happy with you fabulous new bespoke suit. In addition, the benefit of our dedicated after-sales service is that you have a personal advisor on hand should you have any questions, or if any problems arise with the garments.
